Black Sail products are intended exclusively for lawful in-vitro research by qualified purchasers. They are not consumer-use products and are not intended for human or animal consumption, administration, injection, ingestion, topical use, compounding, dispensing, diagnosis, treatment, therapeutic use, clinical use, or patient use.
Who may qualify
Catalog access is restricted to people age 21 or older acting for a qualified university or academic institution, private research laboratory, biotechnology company, pharmaceutical company, government research facility, contract research organization, other qualified research entity, or as a qualified independent researcher.
How access works
Account applications require Email, Password, Legal Name, Business / Entity Type, researcher role, primary research field, intended in-vitro research use, affirmative age and RUO certifications, and an electronic signature. Applications are screened before catalog access. Records indicating non-research, personal-use, human-use, or animal-use intent are held for review and may be rejected. Approved accounts may access the restricted catalog. Each order requires a fresh RUO certification.
Review and exceptions
Black Sail may review an account or order when legitimate compliance concerns arise. Additional information may be requested in exceptional cases. Black Sail may hold or refuse an order and may suspend, reject, or terminate access where purchaser eligibility or research-use compliance cannot reasonably be established.
Accurate information and transfer
Purchasers must provide accurate information, comply with applicable laws and institutional requirements, and prevent resale, redistribution, or transfer for prohibited end uses. A research-use disclaimer does not override facts showing a different intended use.
