Research purchasing terms
Research use only; not consumer products
All Black Sail products are supplied solely for lawful in-vitro research and laboratory use. They are not offered as drugs, dietary supplements, food, medication, cosmetics, or products intended for personal or household consumption.
No human or animal use
Products are not intended for human or veterinary consumption, injection, ingestion, administration, topical human or animal use, clinical use, therapeutic use, diagnostic use, compounding, dispensing, or patient use. Website content is technical product information, not medical advice, dosing guidance, or administration guidance.
Purchaser qualification
Each purchaser represents that they are at least 21 years old; are acting for a qualified research entity or as a qualified independent researcher; are legally permitted to purchase and handle research materials; and will maintain appropriate facilities, training, approvals, records, storage, handling, transport, biosafety, and disposal practices.
Prohibited resale and distribution
Products may not be compounded for patient use, dispensed as medication, resold for consumer use, promoted therapeutically, or redistributed for a prohibited end use or to an undisclosed end user.
Account access and order screening
Black Sail may verify purchaser information; place an account or order into review; request additional information in exceptional cases; hold, refuse, cancel, or refund an order; and restrict, suspend, reject, or terminate catalog access where age, qualification, intended use, destination, payment, fraud, security, or other compliance concerns arise. A listing or account does not guarantee order acceptance.
Prices, promotions, and payment
Displayed catalog prices exclude tax and shipping unless stated. Discounts, bundles, free shipping, and free-item thresholds apply only to eligible qualified purchasers under the published offer terms, may be non-stackable, and may be denied for reseller, coupon, or fraud abuse. Black Sail does not currently display a live card checkout; payment methods will be shown only when actually enabled and approved for use.
Compliance with law
Purchasers are responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local law, institutional requirements, biosafety rules, handling, storage, transport, and disposal requirements.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Black Sail is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of research, or business interruption arising from website access, delay, misuse, unlawful use, storage, handling, or use outside the supplied specifications. Black Sail’s aggregate liability for an accepted order will not exceed the amount actually paid for the affected product, except where law does not permit that limitation.
Indemnification
The purchaser agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Black Sail Compounds LLC and its service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, penalties, and reasonable costs arising from misuse, unlawful use, unauthorized distribution, inaccurate purchaser information, or violation of these Terms, except to the extent prohibited by law.
Electronic agreement
Typing the legal-name signature during account creation and accepting the per-order certification constitute affirmative electronic signatures and agreement to the policies and versions recorded with those events. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These Terms are governed by applicable United States law and the law of the state where Black Sail Compounds LLC is organized, without overriding non-waivable rights.
02 · QUALITY & PROCESS

U.S. Formulated • Filled • Lyophilized • QC Tested
Incoming material is analytically evaluated before measured formulation. The U.S.-based process may include solution preparation, sterile filtration, vial filling, lyophilization, in-chamber stoppering, final crimp/capping, finished-vial quality control, labeling, and fulfillment where documented for the applicable product and lot. Black Sail makes specific process claims rather than relying on an unqualified country-of-origin slogan.
Manufacturer quality control
Manufacturer QC may include identity, purity, quantitation, endotoxin, sterility screening, and heavy metals where documented. The applicable report is identified as manufacturer QC.
Independent third-party verification
This designation is used only when an outside independent laboratory tested that particular lot or material. Manufacturer-generated records are never presented as independent testing.

03 · PRIVACY POLICY
Information and compliance records
Black Sail may collect Email, Legal Name, Entity Type, organization when applicable, researcher role, primary research field, intended research use, age confirmation, RUO certification, electronic signature, IP address, timestamps, policy versions, account and review status, compliance flags, order history, shipping information, payment metadata, fraud/compliance screening information, support communications, and device/security events.
We use information for account creation, purchaser qualification, research-use compliance, fraud prevention, processor compliance, payment processing, fulfillment, customer support, tax and accounting, legal compliance, audit records, and dispute defense. Service providers supporting hosting, security, database, payments, communications, shipping, verification, and fulfillment may process only the information reasonably necessary for those purposes.
Black Sail does not claim to collect or store full card credentials. When payment is enabled, credential handling is performed by the disclosed payment provider. Records may be retained as needed for compliance, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, safety, and legal obligations. Subject to applicable law, contact support to request access, correction, or deletion; some records cannot be deleted while retention is required.
04 · SHIPPING POLICY
United States only at launch
Orders may ship only after account requirements are satisfied, payment is authorized or received, availability is confirmed, and compliance screening is complete. International checkout is not enabled.
FedEx 2-Day shipping is $14.95 for merchandise subtotals below $199 and free for subtotals of $199 or more, calculated after product discounts and before tax. Processing and carrier times are estimates, not guarantees.
Black Sail may delay, hold, refuse, or cancel shipment when qualification, intended use, delivery destination, payment, fraud, carrier, availability, legal, or compliance issues arise. Delivery to prohibited end-use channels may be refused. Adult Signature 21+ may be required for first, flagged, or otherwise selected orders where operationally supported.
05 · REFUND POLICY
Material integrity and order issues
Research materials generally cannot be returned after shipment because chain of custody, storage, and integrity can no longer be verified. This does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
For a damaged, incorrect, missing, or fulfillment-error shipment, contact support promptly and preserve the material, label, packaging, shipping carton, and photographs until instructions are provided. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, generally within 5–10 business days after approval, subject to provider timing. Processor fees may be non-refundable only where law and the provider permit. Filing a chargeback does not waive cardholder rights, but purchasers should contact support so the issue can be investigated and documented.
06 · CANCELLATION POLICY
Before and after fulfillment
A purchaser may request cancellation before fulfillment begins. Cancellation is not guaranteed after packing and is unavailable after shipment except under the Refund Policy. Approved refunds return to the original payment method and remain subject to normal provider timing.
Black Sail may cancel an order that fails age, account, qualification, intended-use, payment, inventory, destination, fraud, or compliance checks. If Black Sail cancels after collecting payment, the eligible collected amount will be returned to the original payment method, subject to any lawful non-refundable fees.
